Note: This website showcases all of my work from high school. I created it to apply for the Journalism Education Association’s National High School Journalist of the Year contest, and I won. I’m preserving the website here as an example for future applicants. To see my updated website, including my work in college thus far, please visit

My portfolio is an extension of me.

It includes the finished products of hour-long interviews, months of research and multiple drafts. It reflects the part of me that yearns for answers to uncover the truth. Most importantly, it embodies my profound commitment to creating community, empowering students, giving voice to the voiceless and monitoring power.
